5 STEPS on your path to homeownership
1.) View the home

2.) Fill out the application
If you’re interested after viewing the home, our agent can send you the application form. You can also visit our website at www.homebuyersinventory.com, click on the “Contact Us” button, and let us know you need an application.
3.) Send in Your Documents
Once you receive the application, you’ll need to submit some documents to qualify for our Rent-to-Own Homes. This includes the application form, pay stubs, bank statements, and a letter of self-employment income if applicable.
Here’s what to do:
- Review and fill out the application.
- Gather the necessary paperwork listed on the checklist.
- Send everything back to us via fax or email (contact details are on the application).
You can also reach out to the local agent who showed you the home. Be sure to let us know when you send your paperwork so we can arrange for you to meet with our local agent for any additional items needed before we process your application. 📄✨
4.) Sign With the Attorney
Once approved, you’ll receive a copy of the paperwork to sign at the attorney’s office. This includes your rental agreement, lease option agreement, and a few other addendums. You’ll have the chance to review these documents beforehand so that when you go to sign, you understand everything.
During this step, we’ll fully discuss both the Owner’s and Buyer’s rights and responsibilities for taking care of the property. These documents and your next steps will be sent to you via email, so make sure we have your best email address.

5.) Get Your Keys to Your New Home!
